Truck passed out the other night. Went into limp mode I think, felt a surge while at a stop sign, and idle kicked up, check engine light came on. I shut it down, to restart (worked once before) but big mistake. Would not restart - almost had to tow. Called wife at home to check DTC list for 31 and 62. Pulled connector from MAP sensor - truck started right up. Put connector back on, drove home (engine light on). Removed sensor just to look at it, re-installed, and now no codes for 2 days.!?
Question is - why both codes at once? I do have a MAP and a baro on firewall. Does computer just use both sensors to get a delta and when that is bad, throws both codes??
Any thoughts?
