Within the next couple of weeks I will be be storing my diesel pickup (mechanical injection)for the winter.
I've got toooo much money in this thing to drive it here in the winter road salt,so it will take a nap until around the end of March or first of April.
In years past with gassers I would just add some STABIL to the gas unhook the battery and say sweet dreams.
Is there anything more to storing a diesel? or is it the same as a gasser?
Thanks,...Merle

i'd probably add a little conditioner to keep the fuel from geling

Yes, a conditioner that prevents microbial growth.
Believe it or not, stored diesel can have fungus build up. Should say on the label. smile.gif
