Well, the monster is back home again. 4WD is working perfectly now. I still think the shop screwed it up and then made something up to cover themselves.
They said that the front half of the tcase was badly worn, so they machined down where the switch sits. They said it was a temporary fix and the front of the tcase needs to be replaced......I call major BS and I think that shop has seen the last of the Chevy. Anyway, they did whatever and fixed it, no charge to us and its great now.
Now the rough decision, do we sell it or do we keep it? We have that nice 99 Ram 3500 V10 and don't really *need* the Chevy, however, we have this strange attachment to it. tongue.gif
