Does Snap-On or GM, etc. make a tool to remove the FSD from the side of the pump. Without removing the intake manifold. I think my 6.5 has finally worn me down. If I get this problem fixed I think I'm going to buy a another brand of truck. I can't sell it unless it is running good. Anyway if anyone knows of a part # please let me know. Thanks.

I'm assuming you want to do this because the FSD is bad?? If so why not get a cooler, harness and new FSD and mount it remotely without bothering to remove the old one. Less work and a solution that should solve why the FSD is going bad.

I used a torx bit for a screwdriver and turned it with a wrench. You can get them at most any hardware store. It's slow going, but I was able to remove my PMD without unbolting the injection pump. You do have to remove the intake though. BTW, the permanent fix for your problem is a DB2 injection pump.
