Hi folks,
After calling everyone on car-part.com, I am ready to give up and price what new air intake parts would cost. Does anyone have the part #s for the box, resonator, etc?

Alternatively, Anybody selling theirs? $150 is my standing offer.

Air Box: #25173763 $132.11
duct: #25165743 $46.70
bracket: #25168287 $25.16
these are the parts that I found. Hopefully this can get you going. I've found(in my opion) that GM parts direct had the better of the prices.

Is the air box the same as for a gaser?

The gas engine version uses the same element, but the housing does not appear to be the same. I tried one from a junk yard (okay - salvage for those needing PC) and it would not work.

With respect to charges from gmpartsdirect - watch the shipping/handling fees. I've continued to find www.teamchev.com (http://www.teamchev.com) to do better on the total delivered to your door price.

Can someone expalin what the 97 Airbox upggrade is for us newbies? It's installing a newer type airbox on your older truck.
