View Full Version : KNOCK-revisited
OK Guys help me out here, as you all know I have a knock problem with my 6.5 reman.
Now I need a little clarification, when one is looking at injector pump from the rear of engine, finding #1 cyl injector line you then in clockwise rotation should have the injector lines in this order 18726543 correct?
Jim P I believe you may be a genious, If I have identified the lines correctly you are 100% correct #7 & #8 are reversed.
That would also explain why 7&8 injectors had no soot on them. as per previous post.

there are a few picture hosting sites you can use. "picturetrail", "community webshots", "sony imagestation", ETC. (for free) follow the instructions they give you to get pics in. then right click a pic, scroll to "properties", and copy the url address.
come back to "post a reply" here, click the "image" icon below and a little window will pop up, clear it, right click, and click "paste".
seems like a lot, but its not. if i can help more, let me know.

Could you describe your knock to me? I have a knock problem as well in my Ebay truck that I can't figure out. It's a 94 and the pump has a green tag which means it's been changed(?) at least once. Could I also have the same simple problem(hopefully)?
