Codes 18 and 35

My 1995 Chev, 2500, ext cab, 4wd, 7200gvw, 4l80e, 6.5 td pickup, had the SES light come on. Has this happened the truck went into limp mode. The next day I had the codes checked and it showed #18 and #35. I asked the Dealer what this meant and he said injector pump. Is this true? Are there any other possibilities as to what it could be? For instance: bad grounds, bad electrical connection, dirty fuel, air in fuel?
My pump has 154000 miles on it. The truck has 199000 on it. Injectors are original.
Any one have any comments or suggestions as to what to check or replace?

Yes it could be electrical gremlins!

I would rule them out before taking the plunge for a pump first.

On the other hand to have that amount of miles on the DS4 pump and injectors I think you did pretty well.

Twice as well as me as a matter of fact.
