hello,
somebody know how repair a/c hose(alum.)my rear a/c suburban was broken, and a new hose cost to much ($275.00 each.). thanks
my only advice would be to goto gmpartsdirect.com
for a better price. Depending on the line these can be under extreme pressure. The aluminum is paper thin, weak, and contaminated. Difficult if not impossible to weld or repair.
good luck...junk yard maybe??
I saw braided stainless steel air conditioning hose and fittings (straight, brass and o-ring) by Aeroquip in the latest Summit catalog. It might be worth a call to Summit and/or Aeroquip to see if they have the appropriate fittings to make some lines or maybe even a complete kit.

The aluminum tubing can be TIG welded and the rubber hoses can be replaced (http://www.thedieselpage.com/duramax/project/project2-ac.htm).
