hello everyone, I have a 93, 6.5td, My truck run great (for a 6.5) but was using a little bit of water, i had a little extra money so i put a new set of heads on. Since then my engine runs extremly rough and blows incredible bluish smoke and smells like diesel. But once it warms up the roughness is almost completely gone, and the smoke totally goes away. I thought that maybee my injectors were bad, but i put new injectors in and still the same problem, im so frustrated i don't know what to do, please help
How are your glow plugs? Or perhaps one of the wires are not connected?
K.D.
How long does it smoke, seconds or minutes? Did you move or remove the inj pump? Do you have fast idle & cold advance timing a on 1st intial start up? Is it missing or chugging on acceleration? I just went thru this a couple of months ago. Sounds like the timing is retarded. We need alittle more info.

I did some research and found some bad glow plugs, i also think my controler is not working properly, Im not shure about the timing, I never moved the injector pump. Im got some new glow plugs offline and it took care of the problem. thanks
