How do I increase the idle on my 93 6.5?

There is a adjustment screw right behind the thermostate housing on the linkage under the high speed selonoid. you have to disconnect the return spring to get to it. make sure you reconnect the spring before you start back up or you will run up the rpms as soon as the engine starts. I just turned mine down from 900 rpms at idle to about 750 and i like it better now 900 was too fast and didnt make the truck drive any better. In fact it seems more responsive at 750 rpms then at 900 but was a little smoother at 900.
