I have a 92 GMC C2500. Last yr it was hit in the frt. I looked at the condenser, it was knicked but looked OK. The AC worked last summer but evidently it had a small leak in it. The 92 system uses R12. I think it has an R4 compressor. I need to replace the condenser and will have to convert to r134. Do 94-97 models use r134? Thru my research, a later model serpentine style condensor works better than the stk 92, for r134. My question is, which side of the truck are your a/c lines on that go to the condenser? If your lines are on the drivers side, does it look like I could just turn the conderser around, back to front? Are the fittings on the condenser straight w/the condenser or do they bend in 1 direction or the other (frt or back)?

Thanks, Ken

Ken;

My '95 is R134 and the lines are about midway up and down on the passenger's side.

on my 94 all the a/c is on the right side also. i think the change to r134 came partway through the 94 model year because when I had to replace my compressor i had a hard time convincing the parts people that i had a 94 and needed r134.
