Head casting #

I found a 1997 6.5 and put it in my 87 Suburban. After a thousand miles I checked the compression and found # 4 and # 8 cyls down at 200 pounds.

The engine came out of a 1987 truck and looked real clean inside Was wondering if the old owner replaced the short block and put on old heads. The casting numbers I found between the center cyls. was 10137567. Can anyone tell a year by these numbers?

That casting number has been around for a while.
