I have a '92 2500 chevy 6.5 with 121k on it.The torque converter has started locking and unlocking while driving down the road. It seems to do it worse when everything warms up. My question ,does anyone know if there is a sensor or something that would cause the converter to lock and unlock at certain temps? Thanks in advance for any ideas.

Sounds like the throttle position sensor may be going south. There is a sensor that is mounted on the side of a DB2 injection pump that lets the transmission know how much throttle is being applied. I had a 6.2 in a 91 model that did what you are talking about, turned out to the be sensor. When replacing, I put the new one in the same position mounted on the pump as the old one was. I don't know how to test it, but surely someone on here does..
