Anyone with 6.5TD with dual exhaust? I would like to hear about it

Just wondering if there is any merrit to going to a dual exhaust system on my '93 6.5TD is dual good? bad? so so? smile.gif lemme hear ya thanks,

Dual never makes sense with a turbo'd engine. Both banks must be plumbed to the turbo and then they are released from a single point. You would get no benefit from spliting the exhaust after the turbo.

I know a father and son that both have 6.5 TD dually trailer haulers. They both have dual exhaust after the down pipe. It's really just for looks, but accomplishes the same effect as the guys going with the 4" single pipe -- easier exhaust breathing. You can go with duals if you so desire but for me I believe in one LARGE pipe only, double the pipes double the maintenance.
The Kennedy system seems to be the cats meow,I have yet to hear anything bad about his 4" system.
