C2500 Front Suspension

Hello Everyone,

I was reading in my Chiltons manual that the upper control arm bushings on a 3500 are replaceable but on 2500 and 1500 they are welded in place. Is this right? I have a 2500, so I'd have to buy an entire control arm rather than just change bushings?

Also if anyone knows of any web sites that explain rebuilding a front end I'd sure appreciate it.

Surely someone has changed their control arm bushings already. Can I get them out or are they really welded in on 1500 & 2500's.

I have had mine replaced, they were just pressed in.
