View Full Version : EGT Gauge
I may be alittle cheap but $150.00 seems kinda expensive for 2 1/16" EGT gauge kit. Is this a normal price or am I looking in the wrong place? Any experienced resources to look at?
I'm new to this diesel thing.

EGT gauges are a bit spendier than more usual types. Probably a bit of economy of scale (in reverse) happening as way the heck more water temp/oil pressure sets are sold, for example, along w/the cost of the pyrometer probe which has to withstand 2000 degrees and many heat/cool cycles so it hasta be a solid piece of engineering.
All the ones I checked were in that range.
It depends what you are looking for. I pretty sure
Summit Racing has Autometer for a lot less than that.
