1982 c20 6.2 diesel complete rewiring

I have a 1982 c20 with 6.2 diesel. In the process of rewiring with universal harness any advice greatly appreciated.

Take your time...
lay out the harness on a big flat area to get familiar with it.Personally i would make notes and tag groups of wires heading to each area of concern.
The wiring on an old truck like an 82 is pretty simple,Why are you replacing the stock wiring with a universal harness?

Shorted out. Had fire

Yeah....That will do it......

Do some looking on places like ebay and scare up a factory wiring book..
These will get you spot on.....
