ZF 6 speed behind a 6.5 diesel?

Will a 6 speed from a duramax work behind a 6.5 with the standard 11" clutch? I dont think it will but the guy I work with thought it might, any thoughts?

The bolt up with the same pattern, but beyond that I don't know. I think the question is more like can the clutch from a D-max be adapted to the 6.5 flywheel . . .the bellhousing is integral on the ZF, so I don't think you'll get the linkage together with the 6.5s clutch. I don't actually know, and I don't have either an NV4500 or a ZF S6-650 lying around to compare them. It's an interesting idea though.
