No black smoke?

Weird! This 6.5 Optimizer I installed with a 4911 injection pump and 3-7 psi lift pump does not blow any black smoke when I accelerate heavy. Is that good? Or is fuel too lean?

Turn up the pump. It should puff a bit of gray/black until the turbo spools. There is no "lean" in a Diesel. The intake air is essentially unrestricted, so less fuel is just less power (and/or smoke). It doesn't have nearly as restrictive A/F ratio requirements as a gasser.
