Problems with ABS system

I need help trying to figure out what is wrong with my ABS system. The ABS system activates only when I am braking and turning at the same time. I know the wheels are not skidding when this happens. It never does this when I am braking in a straight line. This problem started happening after I put a Detroit Locker in the rear axle. The truck is a 2wd chevy dually. Has this happenes to anyone else? What may be the problem?

Sounds like low speed maneuvering, and loss of signal from the sensor. I'd pull the front wheel sensors and clean the surface that they clamp down to. Smear some dielectric grease on this surface as well. The casting rusts and this rust "heaves" the sensor away from the ring causing loss of signal.

GM has a TSB for this. Good place to start.

PS. My '96 started to activate inmtermittently just as I approached a stop. Reseating the sensors cured it...
