I bought a 97 tahoe 2 dr 4x4 6.5 truck
Leather interior and plenty of options
Does anybody know how many of these trucks were Built with 6.5's?

I don't know the numbers, but they are on the lower side of production. I've only personally seen two others in real life. Lots of pics on the internet. I have 365K on mine currently and have owned it for 15 years now.

I don't know the exact numbers either, but at the 2006 (I think) rendezvous, a couple of GM design engineers were there slobbering over my 97 2 door Tahoe. They said they thought the number was just a couple of hundred per year with the 6.5. I've only have 132K miles on mine and I've owned it for 15 years now. It is FUN to drive!

They were available up through 1999 in the 2-door Tahoe and Yukon models.

I see two other local guys with GM 2-doors (Tahoe/Yukon) and mine is the only diesel.
