6.2 serial numbers

Hello

am brand new member from ON Canada and have newbie question

Have a 6.2 engine that is supposed to be new, ( old stock bought years ago and not run)

has all the tell tale markings 6.2 GM on right side front, the casting number
14022660 on rear of engine

serial number (front left by injector pump) it is 2GH15 small space 5

anyone care to answer this puzzle ? ever see a number as first in serial number

Diesel Hub has specs and serial number information.
They call the see number a Broadcast number 1st letter denotes the year of the build digits define day and month
Look for 6.2 specifications
