What year are you working on? 94/95 take a chip not a tuner.

I have a 1995, so I have the "chip". I used Kennedy Diesel. I would recommend him for all 6.5L products. For your application, you will need to swap the entire ECM for an upgrade:

have anyone got a heath diesel ecm or ss diesel supply tune ecm i heard mix reviews on heath tune ecm

I have a Heath Tune in a 95 GMC K3500 6.5 truck.

This tune is one he did back several years.

I was pleased with the performance and overall function.

Heath sold out so I can't say anything about any of the new stuff.
