I consider myself lucky. Many, many miles and no real problems other than an IP replacment at 90K. Over the last couple of morning starts and including this morning, following the first real cool nights we've had since early last Spring, the engine has hesitated upon acceleration. Once the engine is at operating temperature (within a matter of minutes) all is well and you'd never know there was a problem. She continues to run like a top throughout the day. No SES light, but does that necessarily mean I'm not throwing any codes? I do not have access to a Tech II.

Any ideas? Thanks.

I'd bet its time to consider injectors, unless they have already been done.

Mark,

Can you please tell me why you think the injectors would cause these symptons? What has me perplexed is that the warm-up causes the hesitation to go away. I think I see a temperature sensor in the lower neck of the crossover (passenger side). Would failure of the sensor cause this and how would you best replace it since it's hard wired into the harness?
