i can turn it by hand

can any one tell if i should be able to crank my 6.2 by hand realy easy. iv'e only just brought it and i think iv'e been riped off help i think i'm gona pop im so angry

are the plugs in or out?

At least its not frozen. By hand? What are you holding, wrench, flywheel, front pulley? I expect it would be about the same as any other similiar size engine, except very, very near compression TDC.

the plugs are in and i'm using the fly wheel to turn it

While installing my new engine I had to use a bar to hold it while I was tightening the converter bolts. Didn't seem like it took that much to turn it. Also I could turn it over by hand when it was out on the engine stand.
If it out of the vehicle then it would be easy to do a compression test.
