Gone and done it,,,,,my Brother in CA picked up a 91 Burb with a ,,,,,GAS engine. Probably going to ship. I,ve been reading lots on this site and another. Going to make a list. And a bunch of Q. for you all. Found a site that has new blocks and was a little shocked at the prices. Swapping doesn't bother me. Burb has no rust and has needs,,, of course.

Best course of action is usually to find a wrecked diesel truck of the same vintage and swap everything over - otherwise you nickel and dime yourself with every little part you need.

Wanna come out to Florida you can have the engine out of my 83 G30 RV. Engine runs great, but the chassis of the van is shot to hell and we are just going to have it hauled to a junkyard in a few weeks. Literally free, as is-where is.
Only thing I am keeping is the rebuilt injector pump I put on it last year, spent too much on that one single part to let it go.
