After pulling a tree stump my truck started having a vibration and slight rattle. It only happens when the truck is at speed but not under a load or deceleration. I checked the joints and they are tight and the carrier bearing has only slight play from the rubber bushings

Welcome aboard!
Stumps aren't all the same. Did it come out easy? Or was it one you probably should have used a Cat or explosives?
(assuming by your handle this is a dually)
Check the tires and wheels. A weak tire can be pushed over the edge. Look for a shifted belt, which is indicated by a crooked tread (give it a spin and watch it). Wheels get bent for any reason, or seemingly, no reason. Check for debris between the dual wheels. Stumps usually mean sticks around, and one may have got stuck up in there. Check for rocks/mud inside, as well.
Check the exhaust system. Torquing the frame can cause hangers to give up.
Check the engine and tranny mounts. Same reason as the exhaust.
Check the spare tire. Could have been jarred loose. Stranger things have happened.
Let us know what you find.

Just a quick question
Where was the chain attached to the truck?
