does anybody know where to find a glow plug harness for the 82 6.2? or are any other harnesses interchangeable?

At this late date the likelihood of scaring up one of these is probably nil.

You can however build one yourself.

The connectors are available for the glow plug end of the wires.

The wire used in the harnesses is a "Fusible type wire"

Try searching on EBAY for glow plug harness for 6.2 or 6.5

A 6.5 harness should work for ya.

While I don't know about availability or cost, during the final years of production at GM, the 6.5L diesel equipped vehicles came with a new glow harness that incorporated ceramic female spade terminals for the glow plugs. This would work great with any 6.2 or 6.5, 1985 and newer.

Haven't used these personally but another Jeep guy bought these for a 6.5 swap that he did. He said quality was good.
