Hello all, I am trying to find out if there is a difference from a 400th flexplate and a 700r4 flexplate off a 6.2? Any help appreciated!
400 plate will work with the 4l80E
The converter bolt circle for the 700 is slightly smaller.
Here is a link

Look at the specs on the two different plates.
One fits the 4l60/700r4 and the other fits the 400/4l80 (The 136 fits 400/4l80)
Application listing shows the details.
You can see in the picture that the bolt holes in the pads on the plate are on a larger diameter for the 400 plate.
Summit lists these for 6.2/6.5
The 6.5 was not offered from the factory with other than the 400 or 4l80
The 6.5 NA could be retro fitted to replace a 6.2 though and all will work fine.
The 6.5 Turbo will have a 700R for lunch.
Good luck
