Went and had the codes scanned these are what came up
0236
0269
0272
0281
0380
1650 . Can somebody give me a rundown of what these mean several of these are cylinder balance codes the code scanner said ?

Found this in the service manual my next question is could starting without using the glow plugs cause the cylinder balance codes ? What are coolant normal temperatures does that mean operating temperature ?

Starting without glow plugs is likely going to have it running rough for awhile and could easily set codes saying things are unbalanced.

I was thinking that would cause it to give the cylinder balance codes but then I wasn't sure because the part that says normal engine coolant temps for the code to be set . I guess I will keep running it and see if the codes come up again

I have been running some stanadyne fuel additive and the engine idles a lot smoother I was experiencing a weird vibration at idle that would go away with just a little throttle it is now gone
