Which part broke...a swollen tip or the plug on the outside of the head.
If it's a tip broken off, your best bet may be to remove the injector and try to vaccuum it out from there.

the plug on th out site.
If you are lucky, a) there is enough head to tap a screw extractor into, and b) the plug was installed with anti-seize compound or at least is not rusted & frozen at the threads.
Depending on which cylinder, you may have to remove an exhaust manifold to get the screw extactor to turn. Tap extractor lightly into end of plug (if busted plug end doesn't look like a hole you need to drill it till it does); does not need to be banged in heavily. If extractor is sharp & threads not frozen, it should back out nicely.

Sometimes a little heat directly around the plug just before the extractor goes in can help. If you get the body of the plug out and the tip is swollen, soak the tip inside the hole with penetrateing fluid and with a real good grip pry straight out.
If you keep the pulling fource relatively straight it will come out. The plug tip is really hardened into the threaded part. If you go too much side to side then the tip will break off. Now the Injector comes out and a coat hanger with some chassis grease along with some luck the broken tip comes out.
