power stroke comparison

Today I had to drive the shop truck. It is a 1999 f-350 extended cab with a performance chip. They claim the chip is supposed to have added 70 hp. I think it did have a little more power than mine on a long steady pull but in town from red light to red light, my truck would eat this thing for breakfast. It is probably a little heavier than mine. I also noticed that the steering was way loose compared to mine. I didn't like that at all.

We have a customer with a few f-250 superduty trucks, i have driven most of them during service.
I agree with your assesment, both trucks empty, my truck would "smoke" the F**D.
cant say what the outcome would be towing.

I have a chipped 94 Sub + exhaust and other mods.

I also have a 01 PSD programmed +80 and 5" exhaust.

The wife drives the Sub as her daily driver, and since driving mine a few times she LOVES to tell me how she'd be able to smoke me in a race....I think she's right.

As far as towing power.....no comparison. My PSD will tow my fully loaded 5th wheel + people etc like it's not even there. My Sub only dreams of towing that kind of weight!
