I bought a 1997 Winnebago based on the Chevy chassie a few weeks ago. It has the 6,5td engine.
When I drove the RV home, the cruisecontrol did not work and going uphill, it was hard getting the speed to more than 30mph.
The day after i got it home, I took it out and the cruisecontrol worked just fine and the pull going uphill was also just fine.
A few more trips over the past few weeks and everything has been normal until today.
Going back home from a trip, the pull and cruisecontrol was just fine to start with.
However, after about 1hr 30min of driving the cruisecontrol did not engage and the pull going uphill was back to 30mph.
Can anybody point me in the right direction?
Pmd/fsd or solenoid problems comes to mind.
