Been looking around for a set of new pipes since I have a band-aid on my hot side pipe do to a rub hole. Anybody have any suggestions? I'm leaning to the Mishtimoto's.

Thanks
David

We've done welded patches over the top without issue. Pipes are expensive and minimal to low power gains.

Thanks John. I had thought about that as well. Did you weld a piece of aluminum over the hole or just plug the hole with weld?

David,
Depending on how big the hole is you could try using some high temp epoxy. I've had success with Quick Steel Epoxy for some repairs and there is a high temp version (http://www.amazon.com/Blue-Magic-18003-QuikSteel-Temperature/dp/B0084AA2LK) that claims it "Withstands temperatures to 2400 degrees Fahrenheit". You can also Google High Temp Epoxy (https://www.google.com/webhp?gws_rd=ssl#q=high+temp+epoxy+)for more options .. :)

The one that we did had about a 1/4"-3/8" hole as I recall from rubbing on the PS line. I'm not sure what Tom did if he put a piece over the outside or if he used a piece of copper as a backer to prevent internal sag and just filled it
