Quits in run position

I have a 2000 gmc 3500 with 6.5 turbo.
has no codes

Had a stalling issue which converted to a no start issue. After reading the forums seemed the PMD was a good bet but, not. It will fire in the cranking position on the ignition switch but as soon as it goes to the run position it stops?

Fuel lift pump not running after it starts.

Try doing a temporary jumper to the lift pump and see if the engine will stay running.

It could be the ign switch but check the lift pump first.

Also check the shut off solenoid and make sure it goes CLICK when the key is turned to on.

If the Fuel shut off does not click then it could be the switch.

I have had similar problem with a 1999. Was the GM anti theft system.
If the tiny little "theft" light on the dash stays on then that is your issue.
Given your history of start stalls this is most likely NOT your problem, just throwing it out there.
