Notorious fuel leaking from filter housing problem. I must be missing something because it appears I'm going to have to remove intake manifold to have room to remove the housing. Then reading through the intake removal procedure, it has a step where you remove the housing BEFORE you remove the intake. So I'm back to square one. What came first? The chicken or the egg? I was going to replace the fuel lines if I removed the intake, but for now removing the filter housing without removing the intake would be nice.

There's 2 15mm bolts holding the ffm down to the rear of the intake, the lines connect to the bottom of the ffm...

And, you don't have to remove the intake manifold.

Well, now I have the answer. The filter housing (ffm) will NOT come out without additional components being disassembled. In my particular case anyway. Did I mention the truck was in a front end collision? Oops. Anyway, the engine is pushed back just far enough to make it impossible to remove the filter housing. Case closed.
