Hi, I'm new to diesels.
I just got a 1994 Chevy, K2500, 6.5 turbo with 160K.
It is a nice truck. :D
After a few days I got codes 78, 35 and 36.:(
Code 78
I read the threats on code 78.
I replaced the vacuum solenoid with no effect.
I checked the vacuum and it seems ok and I checked the wiring to the solenoid and found no issues.
So I built and installed a turbo master and boost gauge. I plugged the vacuum line at the actuator end.
At 10 psi boost, I am still getting the code???:confused:
Suggestions please.
Codes 35 and 36
I have read others with this issue have added 2 cycle engine oil to their fuel. I am trying that. Other suggestions?
