Defender, good question .. In my experience the short answer is yes.
I bought my 2003 Chevy Duramax new in Oct 2002 and have observed the following oil pressure behavior over the years I’ve owned it. At cold start up oil pressure is ~ 60 psi at idle and after the engine warms up idle oil pressure is ~ 20 psi. After warm-up and driving 65-70 mph the oil pressure is ~60 psi and ranges between 20 & 60 PSI depending on rpm and driving speed. Unless I’m missing something your truck is exhibiting normal oil pressure behavior for a 2003 LB7. :)
