Hi Folks,
The DB2 IP on my 6.5 center turbo motor seems to have a sticky throttle. It moves freely back and forth with not surging of the motor, it just idles a little high.
I can easily pull the throttle linkage at the IP by hand and the truck idles very nicely.
The pump has very little millage on it but has sat for a while. Runnig #2 diesel with a Stanadyne fuel additive.
Could it be a week return spring or just sticky from sitting for too long?
I'm at the tale end of the tweeking on this truck and this seems to be the last little annoyance I would like to solve.
