I just found out the bracket I ordered is discontinued is there any other bracket I can use off another engine it's a 82' 6.2 chevy

Check out the thread about four or five below yours - "replacement starter (pics)" - it discusses the same issue with part numbers and suggestions on fabbing one yourself.
