Finished for now

I finished the truck for now. Later on I plan on making a few more modifications, but for now I am taking a break and driving her. I have been working on her off and on since August. This was my first engine rebuild and first major auto endeavor. A BIG THANKS to LEROY DEISEL for help making this possible. He provided me with great parts and great advice through this whole process.

Here is what I did:

Cylinders bored 30 over
New oil pump and shaft
New felpro gaskets
New plugs
New 1000watt block heater
New reduced height mahle pistons
New lifters
New SCAT crankshaft
New camshaft
New Optimizer cylinder heads
New timing chain and timing gear
New braided stainless oil pressure lines
New fuel pump gear
New bosch injectors
New FSU with sock removed
Lift pump relay harness
Remote Fuel filter
New walbro FRC-10 lift pump
New OPS
New S&B intake
F-Vin upper air plenum
New Flo-Pro crossover pipe and exhaust
Heath diesel ECM and turbomaster
Rubber Fuel hose from tank and back
New radiator hoses
New Power steering pump
New Radiator


I am probably forgetting some things but this is what comes to my mind as of right now. Once again thanks Leroy for the great parts and great service, I am truly thankful.

The video is short because I only had half of the exhaust on so I had my wife turn on the fan to blow some of the smoke out of the garage so she stopped video taping.
