6.5 harmonic balancer question

Just wondering if anyone has any input as to expect or not expect any issues with a 6.5 harmonic balancer on a 1999 HD with only 39,000 original miles. It's an ex fire department truck that I recently bought and I'm just wondering if the rubber part of the balancer is still prone to failure with age even though this is a well maintained garage kept truck when miles are not a factor. Thank you for any advice.

I’d definitely take a look at the condition to see what shape it is in.

Miles might not be a factor, but time spent idling at a scene might be significant. Is there an hour meter on the truck?

And... Rubber gets old and brittle. The cost of an installed balancer is insignificant compared to the cost of a cracked crankshaft. Peace of mind...
