put my banks on and pulled the top off the pump and turned it up and now i don't have my cold advance is there something in there i could have got out of place.

A friend wrote me:
"I already fixed the cold start rough idol problem, when cold make sure the idol sol on the injector pump engages if not, to the left is the temp sw in the t-stat water manifold and mine was bad.
Oh... if you need the cold temp switch it is dealer item...
No auto parts i went to even listed it.
part number from GM is #10154649."

Don't know if this is your problem- wouldn't have anything to do with turning up the pump, but it might be cooincidental. Can;t hurt to check.

i figured maybe i got something together wrong as it worked the day before i took it apart.

Yep,makes sense. How's the connection to the cold temp switch?
