I read somewhere to NOT use a magnetic oil pan heater
Is there a specific reason to NOT use a magnetic pan heater?
How many watts should I go with a pan heater? 200?

That's the first I've heard of that. Although, just thinking outloud, I suppose any metal shavings that accumulate in the oil would not be drained out with an oil change. Instead, they would continue to build up over time.
Personally, though, I didn't trust a magnet holding it on over time so I went with the glue-on version. I'm not sure offhand what size it is, I bought it from Kennedy so whatever he has on his website is what I got.
FYI, I tied it in with the block heater so both work with one plug. I already had installed and outlet in my bumper so I don't have any dangling cords.
