Have found that these perish very quickly on my G20 / 6.2.

When I had it on the road some years ago I would often get that horrible diesel smell, meaning they were leaking and needing replacing.

Just wondered if this is a normal problem - or there are better quality one's around?

Only a small detail - but be good to fix.

Thanks

They make a new slip on kit that includes the caps. The slip lines are better than the rubber ones but the end caps are all still the same. The main thing is to try to get ones that do not have allot of shelf time and are dry rotted, also make sure the little clamp that holds them on is in good condition and on all the way.

You'll need diesel end caps. don't use vaccum line rubber caps, these will fail under the heat and fuel present.

Make sure you get these from a Diesel Injection shop.
