Just curious what this part is? It looks like it's leaking coolant(?) and I want to take care of it, but not sure where to start. Thanks!

Can you post a wider angled pic so I can get a point of reference

Thanks

You bet, sorry about that. Here's a wider view, I'm under the passenger side, looking at the driver's side wheel in this picture.

Front differential actuator. It engages the front axles when you select 4x4 (supposed to, anyway). It won't leak coolant, but coolant can leak onto it from another source.

Thanks!

I had the radiator's upper hose nozzle break off last weekend (not sure why they make that out of plastic), so I'm planning on replacing the radiator as well as most of the rest of the cooling system while I'm at it. Hopefully that will take care of things.

Time will eventually get to the plastic radiator ports.

Getting anything but a plastic/aluminum radiator for these trucks is tough.

The Visteon (OEM replacements) are just like the factory ones, and are good quality
