What is the difference between the Peninsualr pump and a stock 4911 or other mechanical pumps? And can i adjust the fuel flow on a stock one to work just as well as the peninsular high output pump?
Is the peninsualr one is the 300 hp injection pump that people recommend?
Thanks,
Kyle

For several years Peninsular had a proprietary agreement with Stanadyne that kept their fuel-rate and timing curve proprietary. This was their "Marine" pump. Pen developed the fuel/timing curve to perform best with their turbos and marine applications. We've learned it also works well in an on-road application.

I've heard that Stanadyne is now offering the "marine" specs to their authorized servicing dealers. Though I don't know if this is Pen's tune or not.

I would not install the 300 HP pump without all of the other stuff - intercooler, hi-cap cooling, 18:1 pistons, etc.
