I have the turbomaster installed on my stock gm-4 turbo, I recently replaced my crossover and put new gaskets, now my boost will spike to 17psi anytime I want it to.. I have tried to back it off but doesn't seem to change, does this sound like problems with the wastegate. I am gonna unhook the turbomaster and see how the shaft play is. Is it possible the wastgate came unhooked from the shaft?? Any ideas would be appreciated...

That kit has springs for two Boost ranges - one hi, one low - try the other spring.

Mine only came with one spring...

What color is the spring?

It's quite possible you have the nut turned down too much. Back off to 1.75" from end of threaded shaft and try again.

I'm using stock vacuum unit and JK PCM fooler module. What boost should I run??? My engine likes boost now that the weather is cool and the EGT's stay under 900.
Sorry to piggyback your message but I felt the question applies.

Bill Heath suggests no more than 12psi Boost without a charge-air cooler, keeping a close watch on EGT's.

I agree with that.......

Phil,
I have the same problem and I dont know how to fix it. I have the turbo master and I have backed the nut all the way off and boost still climbs but my egt's hardly ever go above 600 degrees. What should I do?
