Mechanical 6.5

Been doing some searching but haven't found anything conclusive. Is it possible to run a 6.5 without an ECM and go completely mechanical, similar to some of the 6.2s?

Yes. Many have done it, and it isn't very difficult, all things considered. Conclusive enough?

A lot of the reason I got my '93 was that it was the last of the mechanical systems.

I just finished converting my 98 3500.When i bought the truck i knew i would convert it one day.I had it easy it's a 5 speed truck.I will post some pic's if i can finger out how.
I hope the computer is screaming away...wheres all the input...how come the motors running ...in need input... i need input.....:D
