6.2 vs 6.5 heads

Howdy
I am going to be replacing be replacing the head gaskets on my 1986 M1009 6.2 this summer.

This engine has an open intake manifold, headers, built-up injectors and the pump is turned up(just a little)

I have set of 2001 6.5 heads.

Question/opinion-
Is there benefit and/or is it possible to use the 6.5 heads?

The injector threads & angle are different in the newer heads, you would need different injectors and maybe lines. other than that, the precups would be different but you could swap them out from each other.
